Finance Manager – Private Equity Real Estate

Location: Singapore (Regional exposure across APAC / Global)

The Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong controls, and supporting the firm's expanding regional platform.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day finance operations across the Group's corporate entities, investment funds, and SPVs. The role requires a hands-on finance professional with strong technical accounting capabilities, sound commercial judgement, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Investment, Operations and Legal teams, as well as external auditors, fund administrators, banks and tax advisors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Control

  • Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close across corporate entities, funds and SPVs.
  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, ACRA filings, escrow reconciliations and statutory reporting schedules.
  • Ensure accurate, timely and consistent financial reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies and financial governance processes.

2. Fund Finance & Transaction Support

  • Manage the finance and accounting activities for investment funds and SPVs.
  • Coordinate with fund administrators to ensure accurate NAV reporting, capital accounting and financial reporting.
  • Support financial due diligence, transaction execution and funding activities alongside the Investment team.
  • Liaise with banks, lenders and professional advisors on financing arrangements and transaction execution.

3. Treasury & Cash Management

  • Monitor group cash flow, liquidity and intercompany funding requirements.
  • Process capital calls, distributions, fund transfers and payments across funds and SPVs.
  • Manage banking relationships, payment controls and cash management processes.
  • Monitor foreign exchange exposures and support treasury activities where required.

4. Audit, Tax & Regulatory Compliance

  • Coordinate statutory audits and manage relationships with external auditors.
  • Support corporate tax filings, GST (where applicable), and tax compliance across jurisdictions.
  • Ensure compliance with MAS requirements and other applicable regulatory obligations.
  • Maintain proper documentation, audit trails and financial records to support governance and compliance.

5. Process Improvement & Systems

  • Drive continuous improvements in finance processes, controls and reporting.
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of finance systems and workflow automation.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable finance infrastructure to support the Group's growth.

6. Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with the Investment, Operations, Legal and Management teams on finance-related matters.
  • Build effective working relationships with auditors, fund administrators, tax advisors, banks and other external service providers.
  • Support the preparation of financial information and analysis for management, investors and Board reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualification preferred (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • Approximately 4–8 years experience (Assistant Manager) or 6–10 years experience (Finance Manager) in audit, private equity, real estate, fund management or financial services.
  • Experience with investment funds, SPVs and cross-border structures is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and Singapore financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience working with regulated financial institutions or fund managers is an advantage.
