Finance Manager

We're partnering with a well-established multinational organisation to appoint a Finance Manager to join its Singapore finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to take ownership of the full spectrum of finance operations while partnering closely with senior leadership to drive business performance and continuous improvement.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Finance leadership team, you will oversee the accounting function, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and internal controls, while leading a small finance team. Beyond ensuring financial accuracy and governance, you'll play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and driving finance transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full spectrum of accounting operations, including month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare timely and accurate financial and management reports
• Drive the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts
• Analyse financial performance, key trends, and business KPIs to provide actionable insights
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial health
• Develop, enhance, and maintain financial policies, internal controls, and governance frameworks
• Ensure compliance with SFRS, US GAAP, GST, tax, and statutory reporting requirements
• Partner with auditors and support both internal and external audit processes
• Lead, coach, and develop a small finance team
• Drive process improvement, automation, and finance transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency

About You

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification
• At least 7 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including team leadership responsibilities
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience in SFRS and ideally US GAAP
• Experience within a manufacturing MNC environment required, preferably with solid plant and inventory management experience
• Prior external audit experience will be highly preferred
• Strong business partnering, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
• Hands-on, proactive, and passionate about driving process improvements and automation
