Finance Manager (Prior Big 4, West)

Join a well-established marine player experiencing high growth within Asia. Due to business expansion, we are actively recruiting for a Finance Manager to lead the finance function in Singapore.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance and managing a team, you will be supporting the full spectrum of accounting operations, statutory reporting, regulatory compliance, group consolidation, and financial governance for the Singapore entity as well as upcoming new entities in Asia. Oversee the full spectrum of accounting functions, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, inventory, cash management, and intercompany accounting. Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Prepare and review statutory financial statements in accordance with SFRS. Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and comply with Group accounting policies. Prepare monthly management reports and financial schedules for management review. Perform analytical reviews of financial results and investigate significant variances. Coordinate the preparation of corporate income tax computations, Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI), annual tax filings, transfer pricing compliance, including preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation. Work with external tax advisors on tax planning, tax audits, and regulatory matters. Oversee cash management activities and monitor liquidity. Establish, review, and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting. Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies, approval matrices, and delegated authority limits. Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, finance procedures, and standard operating procedures.

Your Profile

To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy with minimum 8 years of relevant experience with the later 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity. It is essential to have strong knowledge in financial reporting, statutory reporting and technical accounting. We are seeking a detail-oriented, resourceful, and proactive Finance professional with excellent interpersonal skills.
