Experienced in Precious Metals and Bullion Settlement transactions, settlements, and audit requirements (Swaps / Physical / Forwards settlements)
Instructing and collaborating with product engineering teams to implement, test and launch new initiatives.
Perform full-spectrum accounting functions, including month-end closing, journal entries, reconciliations, GST submissions, stock-takes, and preparation of financial statements, budgets, and tax filings.
Ensure compliance and timely reporting, adhering to accounting standards, statutory requirements, and company policies, with accurate financial and management reports submitted according to schedule.
Manage and close the accounting books of related companies and support ad hoc assignments and new projects as required.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
Candidates will only be shortlisted if they were part of Gold bullion companies or bullion bank with a minimum of 4 -5 years experience.
Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is preferred.
Strong understanding of MFRS, IFRS and IAS.
Proficiency in understanding and application of relevant accounting standards for hedging transactions accounting in forex, precious metals, commodities or other derivatives contracts.
Possess good organisational, administrative skills and time-management abilities.
