About the Role

We are looking for a high-energy, hands-on Finance Manager to serve as a change agent within our growing company. This is not just a keeping the lights on role you will be the architect of our financial infrastructure. Your mission is to evolve our finance department from a transactional back-office function into a streamlined, tech-enabled powerhouse that provides the strategic insights necessary for our next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

Process Engineering & Automation

  • Conduct a comprehensive review of existing workflows (AP, AR, GL, Inventory) to identify bottlenecks and implement lean methodologies.
  • Lead the transition from manual entry to automated workflows, leveraging ERP capabilities and third-party integrations to reduce human-in-the-loop errors.
  • Design, document, and enforce robust SOPs and internal controls that ensure audit readiness without sacrificing operational speed.

Financial Intelligence & Reporting

  • Optimize the month-end closing cycle to deliver faster, more accurate financial reporting.
  • Beyond standard P&L, develop dynamic financial dashboards focusing on unit economics, margin leakage, and working capital efficiency.
  • Bridge the gap between raw numbers and business strategy by providing actionable variance analysis and trend forecasting to the leadership team.

Strategic Partnership & Compliance

  • Collaborate with Operations and Commercial teams to analyze product profitability and optimize cost structures.
  • Proactively identify operational and financial risks, implementing practical controls that scale with the business.
  • Overset all statutory obligations, including tax filings, audit coordination, and compliance with the latest accounting standards.
  • Lead and upskill a lean finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional excellence.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance professional qualification (CA, CPA, or ACCA) is highly preferred.
  • 6-10 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a lean team environment where you were required to be both a strategist and a doer.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP B1, Xero) and data visualization tools. You should be someone who breaks and then fixes spreadsheets to make them better.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy the challenge of building processes from scratch rather than just following existing ones.
  • You don't just report numbers you interrogate them until they tell a story.
  • Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders with clarity and empathy.
