Job Scope
1. Financial Management & Reporting
Oversee the company's full set of accounts.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure accuracy of financial statements and compliance with accounting standards.
2. Budgeting & Cost Control
Prepare and monitor project budgets and financial forecasts.
Track construction project costs and ensure expenses are within budget.
Provide financial analysis to support management decision-making.
3. Cash Flow & Payment Management
Monitor company cash flow and working capital.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure timely payments to suppliers, subcontractors, and staff.
4. Project Accounting
Monitor financial performance of construction projects.
Work closely with Project Managers and QS on project costing and revenue recognition.
Track project progress claims, variation orders, and cost allocations.
5. Compliance & Audit
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and government authorities.
Prepare documents for annual audit and tax filing.
6. Tax & Regulatory Matters
Oversee GST reporting and tax submissions.
Ensure timely submission of financial reports to relevant authorities.
7. Internal Controls & Risk Management
Develop and maintain financial control systems and procedures.
Identify financial risks and recommend improvement measures.
8. Team Leadership
Supervise and guide the finance and accounting team.
Improve financial processes and efficiency.
9. Management Support
Provide financial insights and reports to senior management.
Support strategic planning and business growth.
