Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Finance Supervisor to oversee daily financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support management with accurate financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership capability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment.
Job Description
The Finance Supervisor will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, supervising accounting functions, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring timely reporting. The role involves close coordination with operations, HR, and management to maintain financial accuracy and internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial reports, management reports, and variance analysis
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
- Ensure timely payroll processing and CPF submissions (if applicable)
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Supervise and guide junior finance staff (if any)
- Improve and implement financial policies and internal control procedures
- Support management with financial insights for decision-making
Working Conditions
- Full-time position
- 5 working days per week (Office hours)
- Based in Singapore
- Fast-paced retail environment with periodic peak reporting periods
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience
- Experience in the retail industry preferred
- Knowledge of local accounting standards and CPF regulations
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good communication and leadership abilities
