In this role, you'll take the lead in driving financial governance, tax compliance, treasury operations, and internal controls ensuring the business operates with strong financial integrity, regulatory excellence, and future-focused strategies.
You'll manage a team of finance specialists across Tax, Treasury, and Internal Audit while partnering closely with senior stakeholders to strengthen processes, improve efficiencies, and support business growth initiatives.
What You'll Be Leading
Tax & Compliance Excellence
- Oversee end-to-end corporate tax compliance, including e-Invoicing, withholding tax, transfer pricing, deferred tax computation, and tax reporting.
- Manage tax provisions, reconciliations, audits, and ensure timely submissions with accuracy and compliance.
- Work closely with external tax agents and regulatory authorities on tax matters and compliance requirements.
- Stay ahead of regulatory updates and accounting/tax law changes, ensuring smooth implementation across the business.
- Partner with the VP – Finance to drive tax planning, optimization initiatives, and strategic compliance improvements.
Treasury & Financial Risk Management
- Lead cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and fund optimization initiatives.
- Oversee forex exposure assessments and hedging activities to mitigate financial risks.
- Manage banking relationships, facilities, mandates, and operational compliance.
- Ensure strong authorization controls and governance across all treasury functions.
Internal Audit & Controls
- Oversee income audits, GP loss audits, reconciliations, and compliance monitoring activities.
- Strengthen internal controls by ensuring processes are effectively designed, implemented, and continuously improved.
- Investigate and resolve compliance irregularities, operational gaps, and audit findings.
- Drive process documentation, standardization, and audit readiness across finance operations.
Strategic & Cross-Functional Impact
- Support finance transformation projects, including system enhancements for e-Invoicing and tax integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve automation, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Provide financial and compliance insights to support strategic business decisions and sustainable growth.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and inspire a team of 3–5 finance professionals across Tax, Treasury, and Internal Audit.
- Develop team capabilities in compliance management, analytical reporting, and process optimization.
- Oversee task prioritization, performance management, and team development initiatives.
- Work closely with the VP – Finance and Finance Managers to align operational goals with business strategy.
Additional Exposure
- Participate in travel exhibitions and industry engagements to support business development initiatives.
- Take on additional projects and responsibilities that contribute to organizational growth and financial excellence.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent) required.
- Relevant 7-9 years experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong foundation from a Big 4 environment with solid exposure to tax, compliance, treasury, and audit functions.
- Strong understanding of local tax regulations, transfer pricing, e-invoicing, and internal audit principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel; experience with process automation tools is an advantage.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to drive change and process improvements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
