Finance Manager, Hedge Fund / Asset Management (Singapore) (CLOSED)

A growing investment platform is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, reporting, and regulatory compliance across its fund management entities, with exposure to hedge fund and alternative investment structures.

This role works closely with external administrators, auditors, and advisors to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and efficient fund operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly closing and preparation of management reports
• Oversee financial reporting across hedge fund / alternative investment entities
• Coordinate with external fund administrators on quarterly reporting
• Manage payroll, expenses, distributions, and cash across entities
• Prepare regulatory reports (e.g. MAS surveys) and support compliance requirements
• Oversee tax filings with IRAS (Form C, IR8A, GST) with external advisors
• Liaise with auditors, legal advisors, and corporate secretaries
• Support audit processes and ensure strong financial controls
• Assist with ad-hoc finance and operational matters

Key Requirements

• Relevant experience in fund management, hedge funds, or alternative investment environments
• Degree in Accounting or Finance CA / CPA qualification preferred
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, fund structures, and regulatory requirements
• High attention to detail with strong organisational and multitasking skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced investment environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
