Job Description
Monthly Accounts Consolidation - Prepare and present consolidated financial statements for management and key stakeholders.
Audit & Tax Compliance - Liaise with external auditors and tax agents to ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Compliance - Ensure all entities within the group adhere to applicable legal and regulatory standards.
Financial Reporting & Review - Deliver accurate and timely financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in both English and Mandarin.
Cross-Border Coordination - Act as a key liaison between management and external stakeholders across Singapore and China.
Team Management - Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring timely and accurate month-end closing for both Singapore and China entities.
Conflict Resolution - Proactively identify and resolve operational or team-related issues to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
Holding Company Matters - Support and manage matters relating to the holding company/head office in Singapore and China, as directed by the Chief of Staff.
Job Requirement
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Business Management, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within the Construction or Engineering industry.
Prior experience in a China-based MNC environment will be an advantage.
Proficient in Mandarin to communicate effectively and prepare reports for China-based stakeholders.
Able to thrive in a dynamic environment, with strong ability to manage expectations and meet tight deadlines.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex issues, evaluate implications, and recommend effective solutions.
Willing to travel overseas for business purposes as required.
