Job Description

Job Summary

Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounting and finance operations, with key focus on budgeting, transfer pricing, and taxation matters. This role will ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, effective tax planning, and alignment of transfer pricing policies with business and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Budgeting & Financial Planning

Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecast exercises across business units.
Monitor budget performance and analyze variances against actual results.
Prepare management reports and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Work closely with department heads to ensure budgeting assumptions are aligned with business objectives.
Provide recommendations on cost control, financial efficiency, and budget optimization.

2. Transfer Pricing

Manage and oversee transfer pricing policies to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation in line with statutory requirements.
Coordinate with regional and global finance teams on intercompany transactions and pricing policies.
Review related party transactions to ensure they are conducted at arm's length principle.
Support transfer pricing audits, queries, and reporting requirements from tax authorities.

3. Taxation

Oversee corporate tax, GST/VAT, withholding tax, and other tax compliance matters.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of tax returns and related filings.
Liaise with external tax agents, auditors, and regulatory authorities on tax matters.
Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess the impact on the business.
Support tax planning initiatives and identify tax risks and opportunities for the company.

4. Accounting & Financial Reporting

Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Review financial statements, balance sheet schedules, and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
Support annual audit activities and liaise with external auditors.
Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and reporting efficiency.

5. Team Management & Stakeholder Support

Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure strong performance and capability building.
Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and advisory support.
Collaborate with regional teams, external consultants, and relevant authorities when required.
Support finance-related projects, system enhancements, and policy implementation.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum 5-8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, with managerial exposure preferred.
Strong experience in budgeting, transfer pricing, and taxation.
Good knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory compliance.
Experience in handling audits, tax agents, and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficient in Dynamic 365 accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
