We are a growing organization in the construction sector seeking a high-calibre Finance Manager to take full ownership of financial operations and drive disciplined financial control across multiple projects.
This role is suited for a hands-on, results-driven finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, project-based environment and is confident managing complex financial structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage full set of accounts and financial reporting
- Oversee project costing, WIP, revenue recognition, and profitability analysis
- Ensure strong control over progress claims, subcontractor payments, and retention sums
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance across projects
- Provide timely and accurate financial reports to support management decisions
- Ensure compliance with GST, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and external stakeholders
- Strengthen and maintain internal controls and financial governance
- Lead and mentor the finance team
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience, with strong exposure in the construction or engineering sector
- Solid understanding of project accounting, WIP, and contract costing
- Proven experience handling progress billing, project budgets, and financial forecasting
- Strong knowledge of Singapore financial regulations, GST, and taxation
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities under pressure
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
