Finance Manager (Construction /Consolidation/ WIP)

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day activities within the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance

• Conduct monthly credit assessments and implement effective credit control protocols

• Oversee authorization of digital banking transactions.

• Manage cash and bank operations with a focus on accuracy and procedural integrity

• Prepare monthly cash flow projections and monitor project costing and work-in-progress metrics

• Review and interpret consolidated monthly financial reports across group entities

• Drive the preparation of annual financial statements and budget forecasts

• Compile and submit monthly and quarterly consolidation packages within stipulated timelines

• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and corporate secretaries to support statutory and financial matters

• Contribute to ad hoc assignments and cross-functional initiatives as required

Requirement

• Holds a recognized accounting qualification (e.g., Degree, ACCA, CPA)

• Brings at least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years in a leadership capacity

• Well-versed in international accounting standards such as FRS115 and FRS116

• Prior exposure to the construction or engineering sector is advantageous
