Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance and accounting function for the Singapore entity, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and effective financial controls.
• Oversee month-end close, general ledger, financial statements, tax (GST and corporate income tax), reconciliations, cash management, supplier payments, and external audits.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, landlords, and other external stakeholders.
• Deliver timely financial and management reporting, including sales, expense, CAPEX, and variance analysis, with actionable business insights.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, 5-year planning, financial modelling, and business case development for tenders, acquisitions, and growth initiatives.
• Develop and enhance finance processes, accounting policies, and internal controls while leading and mentoring the Accounting team.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA/CA/ACCA preferred.
• Min. 8 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, and statutory requirements.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics NAV/ SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and financial modelling capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence business decisions.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
