Finance Manager

Capata is a data-driven invoice financing fintech, part of the TransAsia Private Capital group. We finance invoices from SMEs serving blue-chip multinational buyers, closing the gap between long payment terms from big buyers and the cash SMEs need to grow.

The Role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to own the group's finance and accounting functions across Singapore and Hong Kong.

But this is not a traditional finance manager role.

Our finance function is small enough to automate and complex enough to be interesting.

We want someone who looks at repetitive finance work and instinctively asks:

Why are we still doing this manually

Your first job is to understand the existing processes, improve them and automate as much of the repetitive work as possible.

Once that foundation is built, the role expands naturally into budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and helping management optimise the group's finances in line with our business objectives.

Who we're looking for

You probably have around 3+ years of accounting or finance experience — enough grounding to independently own the numbers.

More importantly, you are:

• Advanced with AI and automation, not merely curious about them
• Commercial and able to think beyond accounting entries
• Highly resourceful and comfortable working in a lean environment
• Someone who has taken a project from idea to execution and actually seen it land: that project could have been a system implementation, automation, product launch, event, programme or even a business of your own.
