Job Description

1. Financial Management & Controlling

. Manage full sets of accounts, including AR, AP, GL, and reconciliations.

. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

. Prepare and review management reports, financial statements, and variance analysis.

. Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial controlling to ensure profitability and cost efficiency.

. Monitor inventory, F&B cost structures, and operational expenditures.

. Implement and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies.

2. Compliance & Regulatory

. Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).

. Manage statutory filings including GST, corporate tax, and other IRAS/ACRA requirements.

. Handle payroll, CPF contributions, and other statutory obligations accurately and on time.

. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and government authorities.

3. Business Partnering

. Work closely with management and operations teams to provide financial insights and

recommendations.

. Support evaluation of new outlets, projects, and investment opportunities.

. Provide cost analysis and profitability reports to guide decision-making.

. Analyze F&B cost structures, including food & beverage costs, inventory, and operational expenditures.

4. Process Improvement

. Review and enhance financial workflows for greater efficiency.

. Introduce tools and systems for more accurate and timely reporting.

. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audit readiness.

Requirements

. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

. Chartered Accountant (CA/CPA) or ACCA qualification is mandatory.

. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting/finance, preferably within F&B or retail.

. Strong knowledge of financial controlling, tax, and regulatory compliance in Singapore.

. Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.

. Hands-on, independent, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
