Our client is a leading buy-side firm that is growing rapidly. They have an opening in the Corporate Accounting & Regulatory Reporting Department at the Finance Manager/AVP Level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review end-to-end financial accounting and reporting for multiple legal entities across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local GAAP and group standards.
- Reviewer position to undertake balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure statutory reporting and audit deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Engage with tax and transactional tax.
- Engage with US tax
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Demonstrate leadership potential to mentor and guide team members.
Requirements:
- At least 5-6 years of experience in-house AND ideally 4-5 years previously at a Big-4 firm
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
