Position Overview
We are seeking a highly competent and versatile Finance Manager to join our finance team on a fixed-term basis. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in dynamic environments and can take ownership of essential financial functions. You will lead accounting operations, manage financial frameworks, and collaborate with leadership to support our business expansion goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Operations: Oversee full-spectrum accounting functions, including month-end closing, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Preparation of Consolidated Accounts: Responsible for preparing the consolidated accounts for the Group Companies and liaise with the Auditors on the information required for the preparation of the consolidated accounts.
- Strategic Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial variance analysis to provide data-driven insights for business growth.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure statutory compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), tax regulations, and internal audit requirements.
- Process Enhancement: Evaluate financial workflows, strengthen internal controls, and implement best practices to support scaling operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional business heads, internal teams, and external partners such as auditors or banking institutions.
- Team Guidance: Provide functional guidance and support to team members to ensure accurate and timely project deliverables.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven Track Record: Substantial progressive accounting and finance experience, including prior experience leading or guiding a finance team.
- Credentials: Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field. CA Singapore, CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial systems such as SAP or equivalent and expert-level MS Excel capabilities.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to quickly comprehend complex business operations and contribute effectively with minimal transition time.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to diverse stakeholders.
