Description
- Managing the full spectrum of finance and accounting activities, including month-end and year-end closing processes
- Preparing financial statements, management reports and regulatory submissions
- Overseeing cash flow planning, treasury activities and financial controls
- Coordinating audit activities and ensuring compliance with statutory and tax requirements
- Supporting group reporting, budgeting exercises and mid-term business planning initiatives
- Partnering regional entities to facilitate financial consolidation and reporting processes
- Contributing to HR administration, corporate governance initiatives and company-wide policy development
Profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- 5+ years of accounting and finance experience with exposure to financial reporting
- Experience managing statutory audits and compliance-related activities
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience engaging stakeholders across different business functions
- Prior exposure to regional reporting, group consolidation or multi-entity environments will be advantageous
- Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N1 or JLPT N2 level (or equivalent professional fluency) is essential due to regular communication, reporting and collaboration with stakeholders based in Japan.
