Finance Manager (8-month contract), International Hedge Fund

Our client is an international hedge fund that they cover multi-asset class investments and they are technology-driven. They are looking for a Finance Manager, it is a 8-month contract role and the position is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the month-end closing for financial reporting for Singapore and Hong Kong entities
• Partner closely with the business to prepare management reporting, budgets and forecasts
• Cover statutory reporting for the Singapore entity, ensuring regulatory capital calculations and financial reporting inputs are accurate and on time
• Collaborate with the Tax team to manage income tax, GST, transfer pricing etc
• Cover treasury operations such as cash and capital forecasting, liquidity, foreign exchange management
• Work with other finance team members to ensure the smooth and efficient operations control
• Contribute to documentation and automation initiatives
• Other ad-hoc duties related to finance and operations when necessary

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other accounting qualifications
• At least 6 years of finance and accounting experience in financial institutions such as hedge fund, investment trading firms, investment banking etc
• Solid experience in statutory reporting
• Good understanding on financial products
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Motivated, detailed-oriented, independent
• With exposure or interests in working in a tech-driven environment
