Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Reporting
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing for entities in Singapore, Vietnam, and Japan.
- Maintain accuracy across general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Prepare and review management reports, cash flow statements, and variance analyses.
- Coordinate annual audits and manage communication with external auditors and tax advisors.
Process & Controls
- Enhance finance processes, including project cost tracking, expense approvals, and budget monitoring.
- Support ERP or accounting system implementation and drive automation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local GAAP (SFRS, VN GAAP, J-GAAP) and group reporting under IFRS.
FP&A & Business Partnering
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis in collaboration with business leaders.
- Track key financial KPIs and deliver actionable insights to management.
- Prepare financial data for investor updates, fundraising activities, and board presentations.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline CPA/CA certification preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally within manufacturing, robotics, or engineering.
- Proven expertise in multi-entity consolidation and cross-border accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax compliance, and audit processes.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Xero, NetSuite, Business Central).
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
