Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Finance Intern to support key initiatives and day-to-day finance operations. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in project support, system implementation, and finance process improvements within a fast-paced corporate environment. The intern will play an important role in alleviating operational workload and driving efficiencies across the team.

What will you do

You will be involved in -

  • Assist in the implementation of the Treasury Management System (TMS), including data collection, testing, documentation, and tracking progress over the 8-week project timeline.

  • Support corporate secretarial activities by helping to consolidate, organize, and digitize legal and corporate documents, ensuring proper record-keeping and retrieval.

  • Provide administrative and coordination support including documentation, tracking action items, and assisting with compliance requirements.

  • Participate in month-end closing activities, including preparing schedules, tracking deliverables, and identifying opportunities for process enhancement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to various finance-related projects aimed at continuous improvement.

  • Ensure accurate documentation and maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and legal information.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Strong interest in financial reporting and auditing.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

  • Meticulous, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • IT-savvy, comfortable working with multiple systems
