1. Prepare financial and regulatory reports required by laws, regulations, and board of directors.
2. Manage the preparation of the company's budget and report to management on variance from the established
budget, and the reasons for those variances.
3. Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting, and collections procedures and make recommendations for
changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets and other financial control functions.
4. Establish procedures for custody and control of assets, records, loan collateral, and securities, in order to ensure safekeeping.
5. Supervise and manage the finance team daily operations and reviewing of AR and AP functions
6. Perform all other duties as assigned and required by board of directors.
7. Prepare and submission of all tax related matters to regulatory
8. Submission of quarterly of GST report to regulatory
9. Assist in secretarial related matters with secretarial agent
10. Prepare and submission of payroll related matters to regulatory
11. Review FPS database monthly report for QA review and submission of FPS database to SSG upon request
12. Liaise with external auditor, tax agent, secretarial agent and banker
13. Review human resource policies and procedures annually or as and when necessary.
14. Execution of HR duties
- Maintenance of staff P-file
- Maintenance of staff leave records
- Maintenance and submission of staff employment pass
- Submission of staff income records to tax authority (including tax clearance)
- Maintenance and submission of HR quarterly KPI to QA
- Submission of HR related survey to MOM
- Staff recruitment process
- Staff claims
15. Posting of month end Journal entries and preparation of monthly reports / reports as required by other departments
16. Assist in any other accounting area and ad hoc tasks
