Job Description

Responsibilities

Finance

  • Maintain full set of accounts in compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Execute daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, general ledger postings, and bank reconciliations to support financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns to meet regulatory deadlines and ensure compliance.
  • Manage month-end closing processes, including reconciliation of e-commerce transactions, and prepare comprehensive financial reports such as Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and provide audit schedules to facilitate efficient external and internal audits.
  • Review and process staff claims for Singapore and India subsidiaries to ensure compliance and timely reimbursement.
  • Apply for and monitor government grants and subsidies to optimize financial support and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Liaise with bankers, corporate secretaries, tax agents, and overseas counterparts to coordinate compliance and filing matters effectively.
  • Manage overseas subsidiary and intercompany transactions to maintain accurate consolidated financial records.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing accurate financial data and analysis to guide strategic planning.
  • Perform additional finance-related duties as assigned to contribute to overall financial management and business growth.

HR Administration

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases to ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with regulations.
  • Process payroll and staff allowances in compliance with statutory regulations to ensure timely and accurate compensation.
  • Administer employee benefits and enrollment processes to support workforce wellbeing and engagement.
  • Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned to support efficient HR operations and organizational effectiveness.

Required competencies and certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Proven 1-3 years experience in finance with knowledge of full set and general accounting procedures
  • Familiarity with applying for government grants and managing compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., Auto Count)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
