Job Description

Ricardo is a fast-expanding automotive group and an established name with 50 years experience in the automotive industry. The group's businesses include vehicle hire purchase financing operations (Ricardo Cars Pte Ltd), property-backed financing solutionsfor SMEs in Singapore (Ricardo Financial Services Pte Ltd), insurance services (Ricardo Insurance Agency Pte Ltd), and workshop operations (Ricardo Auto Centre Pte Ltd).

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detailed-oriented Finance Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management and possess strong analytical and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for, inter alia:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and generate timely and accurate full set of financial statements in compliance to accounting principles and regulations.
  • Financial Operations: Implement and monitoring of internal controls and transaction / general accounting processes to safeguard assets and to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions and records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation
  • Tax Management: Prepare and submit tax and GST returns in accordance to tax laws and regulations
  • Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards and managing audits

You will be expected to collaborate with various stakeholders across the organisation to ensure finance processes are running efficiently, as well as manage various financial topics and provide ad-hoc support to the new business teams.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, ACCA/CPA/ACMA
  • PC Literacy Skills Microsoft office with strong Excel knowledge
  • Min. 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role and able to handle full set of accounts.
  • Possess initiative, strong planning, administrative organising capabilities and analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, corporate tax and GST rules
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, hands-on and meticulous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a strong team player

Remuneration

  • Salary: commensurate with experience
  • Annual Wage Supplement
  • Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
  • 14 days annual leave (with an additional day after 2 full years of service, and capped at 18 days)
  • Birthday leave
