Job Description
Revenue & Inventory Accounting
- Ensure timely and accurate revenue, direct cost, and inventory recognition in compliance with accounting policies.
- Perform month-end closing, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory transactions between physical stock, systems, and the general ledger.
- Support new product launches, including systems setup and UAT.
- Prepare accounting papers, documentation, and respond to business and offshore team queries.
Fixed Assets & Capex
- Record and manage fixed asset transactions (additions, disposals, impairments, CIP).
- Ensure capitalization aligns with SFRS(I) and company policies.
- Conduct periodic asset verification and prepare fixed asset and Capex reporting.
- Follow up with stakeholders to resolve outstanding items.
Audit, Reporting & Improvements
- Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
- Provide monthly/quarterly reporting support and maintain operational controls.
- Participate in finance projects and drive process improvement initiatives.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy or equivalent with 2 years+ experience in audit or accounting.
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS accounting and its application.
- Candidates with product and telecommunications revenue accounting working experience, particularly on IFRS 15 on revenue recognition will be an added advantaged
- Proficient in ERP software (such as SAP), Excel, SQL, RPA skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Team player with confidence and maturity to work effectively with different levels in the organization.
