Position Summary
The Accounts Receivable Executive is responsible for invoicing, receipts, collections, and revenue accounting, including grant-related reconciliation and follow-up.
This role ensures timely and accurate recording of receivables, compliance with grant requirements, and effective coordination with departments and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable Operations
- Issue and track customer and grant-related invoices
- Record and reconcile receipts, including bank transfers, checks, and other payment modes
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances
- Perform monthly AR reconciliations and support financial close activities
- Maintain accurate and complete AR documentation and records
Grant Receivables Management
- Track grant receivables and reimbursements in accordance with grant agreements
- Support follow-up of outstanding grant disbursement
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure revenues and receivables are recognized correctly per organizational policies
- Preparing AR-related schedules for management reports and audits
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, accounting standards
- Maintain proper documentation for audits, grant reviews, and financial reporting
- Support internal controls related to revenue and receivables
Coordination & Communication
- Respond promptly to billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Support finance team initiatives to improve AR processes and systems
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable or finance operations
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
