Finance Executive
Job Summary
We are an expanding primary healthcare group operating multiple GP clinics across Singapore. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Finance Executive to strengthen our finance operations and ensure strong governance across our clinic entities. The successful candidate will manage full spectrum accounting functions, support statutory compliance, and contribute to financial process improvements in a multi-entity environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage full set of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger to ensure accurate financial records
- Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules to provide timely financial insights for decision-making
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations to verify accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Execute timely and accurate month-end closing processes to meet reporting deadlines
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements to comply with regulatory and internal requirements
- Process vendor invoices and payments to maintain smooth supplier relationships and cash flow management
- Reconcile daily clinic revenue collections from cashless platforms, corporate billing, and insurance claims to ensure revenue accuracy
- Monitor and follow up on receivables ageing to optimize cash collection and reduce outstanding debts
- Collaborate with clinic operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve billing accuracy
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns in compliance with IRAS regulations to ensure statutory adherence
- Assist with annual audit and tax matters by providing required documentation and explanations
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies to maintain financial governance
- Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes to support transparency and accountability
- Support payroll processing and ensure timely CPF submissions to meet statutory obligations
- Maintain accurate documentation of staff claims and reimbursements to facilitate payroll accuracy
- Identify and implement accounting process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Support finance system enhancements to streamline operations and reporting
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises to support financial planning and resource allocation
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline degree holders are welcome to apply
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience in SME or multi-entity environments
- Familiarity with Singapore GST and statutory requirements
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial data management and analysis
- Experience in the healthcare industry is an advantage
