Core responsibilities
- Financial reporting and analysis: Prepare financial statements, analyze financial data, and interpret trends to advise management.
- Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in creating budgets, monitor actual spending against the budget, and help forecast future financial performance.
- Record keeping: Ensure financial records are maintained accurately and up-to-date, which includes managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Auditing and compliance: Assist with internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Transaction processing: Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate billing processes.
- General administrative support: Perform other duties as assigned, which can include managing subscriptions or office supplies.
Required skills and qualifications
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with financial management and accounting software.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and policies.
