Role Overview:
The Finance Executive will oversee everyday accounting operations, reporting, statutory compliance, and audit support. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights, and supporting strategic and operational decision-making in a dynamic, multi-country startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-set accounts, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to inform business decisions.
- Assist with statutory filings, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns, corporate tax filings based on company profits, and personal income tax as required.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
- Handle bank-related matters and support tax reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments, providing financial guidance and supporting business initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance ACCA/CPA or pursuing certification preferred.
- 2-3 years of relevant finance experience, ideally in DeepTech, technology, or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of full-set accounting and statutory compliance in Singapore.
- Familiarity with Odoo/Xero is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
