Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a Finance Executive to oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) function, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of supplier invoices and payments. You will work closely with vendors, auditors, and internal stakeholders to support invoice verification, vendor reconciliations, GST compliance, month-end closing, and payment processing across Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SAP. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of AP processes and compliance requirements, and a proactive approach to supporting audits, ERP enhancements, process improvements, and effective internal controls.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) process, including invoice verification, posting, and payment processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Perform invoice validation, including PO / GRN matching, approval checks, and accurate GL coding in compliance with company policies.
  • Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate AP records and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare AP-related journals, accruals, prepayments, and shipment summary reports while ensuring GST compliance and reporting accuracy.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring AP transactions are completed within reporting deadlines.
  • Assist with audit requirements, ERP system enhancements, process improvements, and initiatives to strengthen operational efficiency and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve transactional issues and perform other finance-related duties as assigned.

Skills and Competencies Profile

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field, OR
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry, or prior experience in financial accounting, or related roles, is preferred

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and SAP systems, including advanced functions, PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis tools
  • Experienced in Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including supplier invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, payment processing, and resolution of accounting discrepancies
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, month-end closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, General Ledger (GL) postings, and financial reconciliations
  • Good understanding of GST and statutory compliance requirements, audit support processes, end-to-end accounting workflows, and ERP system controls

  • Strong team player with good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable and detail-oriented
  • Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
