We are partnering with a leading cryptocurrency company to hire a Finance Director. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial management, planning, and compliance, while providing strategic insights to support business growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee overall financial management of the business unit, including timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and period-end closings.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A), providing actionable insights to support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage related filings, while supporting tax planning and risk management initiatives.
- Lead and develop the finance team, streamline processes, and enhance team capabilities and efficiency.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions to ensure smooth completion of audits and compliance requirements.
- Regularly report financial performance and business metrics to management, supporting strategic planning and performance management.
- Drive improvements in financial policies, internal controls, and digitalization of finance processes.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related fields; professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA preferred.
- 8+ years of relevant finance experience, including leadership of finance teams; experience in multinational corporations or fast-growing companies is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, financial analysis, and modeling.
- Understanding of tax compliance and experience in cross-border or multi-jurisdictional tax matters is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and business acumen, with the ability to work across departments effectively.
- Strong analytical thinking, sense of responsibility, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and proven leadership and execution skills.
