We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Director to strengthen the financial governance, control environment, and reporting framework for a Wholesale Bank. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational control across lending, treasury, institutional banking, and trade finance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial, regulatory, and management reporting for the Wholesale Bank.
- Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, balance sheet integrity, and variance analysis.
- Strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks, and audit readiness.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, Basel requirements, capital and liquidity reporting.
- Produce performance dashboards, P&L/BS analytics, and business insights for senior leadership.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Treasury to manage financial risks and control gaps.
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance/Accounting CPA/CA/ACCA preferred.
- 12-15+ years in finance within wholesale/corporate banking.
- Strong expertise in financial controls, reporting, regulatory compliance, and audit management.
- Deep understanding of wholesale banking products, capital, and credit risk.
- Excellent analytical and stakeholder communication skills.
