A well-established Real Estate Investment and Asset management platform is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee financial strategy, capital management and governance across its portfolio of investment entities.
Working closely with senior leadership, this role will play a key part in ensuring strong financial oversight, disciplined capital deployment and effective performance management across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall finance function, ensuring strong financial management and operational support to the business
- Partner senior leadership on financial strategy, planning and performance optimisation
- Oversee capital deployment, shareholder funding processes and equity capital management
- Maintain oversight of liquidity, cashflow forecasting and funding requirements
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including consolidated management and statutory reporting
- Strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks and compliance processes
- Lead audit engagements and manage relationships with external advisors
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial performance monitoring
- Build and develop a high-performing finance team while fostering a strong culture of accountability and collaboration
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance with professional qualification (CA / CPA or equivalent)
- Min 15 years of relevant experience, ideally within real estate investment, private equity real estate or asset management platforms
- Proven leadership experience managing finance functions and advising senior stakeholders
- Strong background in financial reporting, capital management and governance
- Commercially minded with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
