Job Summary
Lead and direct all general accounting functions and financial operations across Singapore and Malaysia to drive organizational growth, ensure compliance, and optimize financial performance within a multinational aerospace environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily management of all general accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with organizational goals and drive sustainable growth.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls and standard work instructions to safeguard assets and ensure process consistency.
- Collaborate with the management team to create financial growth plans and provide expert advice on financial risk management.
- Direct budgeting, audit processes, monthly financial closing, and oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including US GAAP and SOX requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses and deliver actionable insights to support decision-making by Operations, Group, and Corporate management.
- Lead and develop finance teams to enhance capabilities, performance, and engagement.
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives by leveraging ERP and financial systems expertise.
- Apply analytical and data-driven approaches to solve complex financial challenges and improve business outcomes.
- Communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders at all organizational levels, fostering transparency and informed decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required a CPA, MBA, or similar advanced credential is strongly preferred.
- Extensive senior-level finance leadership experience within a multinational manufacturing organization is essential.
- Thorough knowledge of US GAAP and hands-on experience working in a SOX-compliant environment are required.
- Comprehensive expertise across all finance functions, including FP&A, controllership, taxation, treasury, statutory reporting, and internal controls, is expected.
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and enhance business outcomes through strategic financial insights is critical.
- Proven success in leading, mentoring, and developing finance teams is necessary.
- Strong proficiency with ERP and financial systems, along with experience implementing automation and driving process optimization initiatives, is highly valued.
