Job Title: Finance Director

Role SummaryWe are seeking a visionary and commercially astute Finance Director to lead our financial operations and drive strategic growth across our Singapore and regional entities. Reporting directly to the CFO/CEO, you will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for ensuring financial resilience in a volatile global market. You will move the finance function from a reporting unit to a strategic partner by leveraging data analytics, AI, and robust risk management frameworks.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Partner with the executive team to formulate long-term business plans, capital allocation strategies, and M&A evaluations.
- Financial Operations & Controls: Oversee the full spectrum of finance, including treasury, tax, FP&A, and statutory reporting (SFRS/IFRS/US GAAP).
- Digital Transformation: Lead the implementation of AI and automation tools (e.g., RPA, predictive modeling) to streamline monthly closings and enhance forecasting accuracy.
- Treasury & Risk Management: Optimize regional cash flow, manage FX exposure, and ensure liquidity in a high-interest-rate environment.
- ESG & Sustainability Reporting: Drive the integration of ESG metrics into financial reporting in alignment with Singapore's mandatory climate disclosure requirements (starting 2025/2026).
- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with the Board of Directors, external auditors, tax authorities (IRAS), and financial institutions.
- Team Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and digital upskilling.
Requirements- Education: Degree in Accountancy or Finance. An MBA is highly desirable.
- Professional Qualification:Chartered Accountant (CA) Singapore, CPA, or ACCA is mandatory.
- Experience: 1215+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within an MNC or large publicly listed company.
- Technical Skills:
- Mastery of ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle) and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).
- Strong understanding of regional tax (Transfer Pricing, BEPS 2.0) and corporate governance.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional data storytelling abilitytranslating complex financial data into compelling narratives for non-finance stakeholders.
- Certification (Bonus):SID (Singapore Institute of Directors) Accreditation or QLED badge for listed entity directors.
