Job Description

Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with the company's business goals.
Advise the CEO and executive team on financial planning, risk, and investment strategies.
Drive financial forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic decision support.
Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and board presentations.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards
Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies for financial audits and filings.
Lead annual budgeting processes and mid-year forecasts.
Review departmental budgets and assess financial performance against targets.
Identify variances and provide insight for corrective actions.
Optimize working capital and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
Analyze cost structures and recommend strategies to improve margins and profitability.
Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure adequate insurance coverage, credit control policies, and risk assessment tools are in place.
Monitor internal controls and safeguard company assets.
Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team.
Set departmental KPIs and ensure staff development and succession planning.
Communicate financial performance and strategy to shareholders, board members, and key stakeholders.
