Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Finance
- Lead finance across multiple manufacturing sites, with strong focus on costing, plant profitability, and operational performance.
- Drive improvements in standard costing, product costing, manufacturing variances, productivity, yield, scrap, and overhead efficiency.
- Partner with operations and supply chain to improve inventory management, production efficiency, and cost control.
- Provide clear visibility on product, customer, and site-level profitability.
Strategic Finance & Business Partnering
- Act as the key finance partner to the Managing Director and senior leadership team.
- Drive profitability, gross margin improvement, cost efficiency, cash generation, and working capital performance.
- Provide financial insights for pricing, investment, capacity expansion, and strategic business decisions.
- Lead treasury, cash-flow forecasting, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and financing activities.
Working Capital & Financial Discipline
- Drive improvements in inventory turns, receivables, payables, and cash conversion cycle.
- Strengthen cash-flow management and financial discipline across the organization.
- Ensure business decisions balance profitability, cash generation, and long-term financial sustainability.
Regional Finance Leadership
- Lead a regional finance team
- Drive standardization, centralization, process improvement, and a strong One Finance Team culture.
- Lead finance transformation, systems implementation, reporting improvements, and internal controls.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Finance Director, Head of Finance, or Financial Controller in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in precision engineering, industrial, or component manufacturing.
- Deep expertise in manufacturing costing, plant finance, gross margin, inventory, working capital, and cash management.
- Experience leading regional finance teams and finance transformation initiatives.
- Strong commercial and business partnering skills with the ability to influence operational decisions.
- Hands-on, commercially minded, and results-oriented leadership style.
- Mandarin proficiency required.
- Regional travel across Singapore, Malaysia, China, and Vietnam will be required.
