Job Description
Finance Director - Growing Clean Energy & Infrastructure
Overview
This is a Singapore-headquartered, high-growth clean energy and infrastructure business operating across Southeast Asia. The organisation develops and operates technology-enabled infrastructure that supports the region's transition towards more sustainable mobility and energy solutions. With further regional expansion and infrastructure investment underway, the business is looking to strengthen its leadership team with an experienced Finance Director.
Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Finance Director will be a key member of the executive leadership team and a strategic partner in shaping the company's next phase of growth. A major priority will be leading the organisation's capital strategy, including equity and debt fundraising, project and asset-backed financing, and engagement with institutional investors, infrastructure funds, banks and strategic partners. The CFO will also provide commercial and financial leadership for regional investments, new market entry, partnerships and potential corporate transactions, while ensuring disciplined capital allocation and attractive investment returns. Equally important will be building a scalable regional finance platform, strengthening FP&A, treasury, cash and working capital management, governance, controls and management reporting. The successful candidate will oversee finance across Southeast Asia, develop meaningful operational and investment KPIs, and drive improvements in systems, data and processes to support a growing, increasingly complex regional organisation.
Requirements
The successful candidate is an accomplished senior finance executive with approximately 15-20 years of progressive experience, ideally including leadership as a CFO, Finance Director, VP Finance or Regional Head of Finance within a mid-sized, entrepreneurial or high-growth organisation. Candidates should bring a strong track record in equity and debt fundraising, capital structuring and investor management, alongside hands-on experience leading multi-country finance operations in Southeast Asia. Exposure to renewable or distributed energy, EV infrastructure, utilities, Energy-as-a-Service, infrastructure services or another asset-intensive sector would be particularly relevant. Experience working with private equity, infrastructure investors or founder-led businesses will also be highly regarded. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial judgement and board-level credibility with the willingness to remain close to execution, build capable teams and professionalise finance without creating unnecessary complexity.
