Overview:
As a hands-on Finance Director, you will execute all aspects of cash flow management and financial planning, taking full ownership of analysing financial performance to drive strategic, data-driven directions. You will leverage organisational agility to navigate internal and external challenges ensuring fiscal stability through both high-level oversight and direct daily operational involvement.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Lead the regional finance function, including planning and managing staff across budgeting, auditing, and accounting.
- Provide active leadership to drive strong team performance and operational excellence.
- Develop, implement, and enforce internal controls and departmental policies at both local and regional levels.
- Oversee and drive the monthly closing process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Review all financial and management reports before submission to KAP and senior management, including detailed analysis of material variances.
- Prepare financial forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Coordinate and support annual external audit activities.
- Maintain daily financial governance, including approval of payments and signing of checks.
Experience:
- Over 10 years of experience in a similar senior finance leadership role.
- Experience managing complex budgets for multiple concurrent projects.
- Ability to navigate large-scale financial challenges with strong organisational agility.
- Comfortable handling both strategic oversight and detailed, project-specific accounting.
- Background in the built environment sector is an advantage (not a requirement).
- Degree in Finance or Accounting, or CPA qualification is required.
