Job Description:
Manage Financial Accounting and Reporting and day-to-day finance functions, including but not limiting to the following:
- Manage financial accounting and reporting and day-to-day finance functions and supervise a small team of accounting staff
- Manage monthly and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate closing
- Prepare monthly financial and management reports and variance analysis of the Company and monthly consolidation accounts
- Prepare and finalize annual audited financial statements and liaise with external auditors
- Prepare consolidated data for the parent company's annual audited consolidated financial statements f) Prepare GST report and GST returns for quarterly filing
- Involve in monthly rolling forecast and annual budget
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and the Company's policies
- Involve in process improvement and report automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial data and reports j) Any tasks that may be assigned by Management as & when required.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing concern / big audit firm
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, formulas, lookups, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in consolidation accounting
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Accredited Tax Practitioner in Singapore Goods & Services Tax is preferred
