Job Summary:
Ensures accurate books and records to support business decisions, and for statutory reporting, and managing operations and accounting as information repository for Family Office.
Work Activities
Review of operation + Report generation
- Review payment lists and expense records (in excel templates)
- Upload records to accounting system
- Bank reconciliation for expense and cash balances against reports in accounting system
- Maintain records in accounting system
- Generating various expense report, Expense budget variance reports, Cashflow reports, weekly cash reports
Accounting for financial, tax and statutory reporting
- Preparing financial statements for entities and for consolidated Family Office
- Preparing GST assessments for payments to/refunds from IRAS
- Preparing tax information and reports for tax reporting
- Preparing financials for statutory reports
- Ensure that all statutory and internal deadlines are met for reporting purposes.
- Assisting with yearly budget forecast and periodic budget updates.
Collaboration with other parties
- Meeting info requests
- Managing and reviewing operations processes as part of internal controls
- Liaise with tax agents and external service providers
Qualifications and skills
- Experience from Big 4 accounting firms, fund service provider, or in-house finance department
- Bachelor in Accounting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with different parties
- Well versed using MS Office and accounting systems
