The Role
This position will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance functions in accordance with statutory requirements, company policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly financial closing, preparation of journals, audit schedules, bank reconciliation, preparation of financial results/management reports/annual financial statements
- Assist in analysis of financial results preparation of forecasting and budgeting exercises
- Assist with audit and tax information preparation liaise with auditors and tax agents for year-end audit and Corporate tax/GST filing/compliance
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Assist with other ad-hoc assignments such as UAT and data migration verification as and when required
Job Requirements
- CPA/CA qualification and/or Degree in Accountancy/Finance or ACCA or its equivalent
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in accounting, preferably in real estate industry
- Well-versed in SFRS(I) and other accounting regulatory requirements
- Proficient in MS Office particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP, Blackline, BPC and Tagetik, Power BI system(s) and/or real estate knowledge would have an added advantage
- Meticulous, analytical independent, a good team player and possess good communication skills as well as the ability to deliver quality work within stipulated timeline
