Finance Controller

About the role

Reporting to the Head of SEA & GC Retail Controlling, the Finance Controller will have responsibility for the full financial operations of the business in Singapore and Regional Real Estate, aimed at providing strategic advices and manage initiatives to drive commercial improvement and growth of the business

Perform business review to assess financial, accounting and operational controllership for both risks and opportunities.

Key Areas of Responsibility

. Manage financial reporting to ensure preparation of timely and accurate financials

. Manage financial analysis, resolving operational matters, contracts review, review of key business performance indicator and championing lean business process by recommending best practices

. Responsible for forecast and budgeting process, support regional management to building up mid- term planning.

. Oversee internal control, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX, coordinate internal and external audit

. Manage cash flow projection, working capital, banking facilities and all banking matters of the country

. This is not an exhaustive list of duties and you may be requested to perform any other duties deemed reasonable by your line manager

Experience/Knowledge

• Effective and efficient management skills.
• A strong financial background
• Fluent English
• Experience in retail
• A good communicator at all levels.
• Proven ability to deliver stretching financial targets.
• Bachelor's Degree in finance or related subjects MBA or other Post-graduate qualifications will be an advantage
