Job Description

Job Summary:

The Finance and Admin Specialist is responsible for supporting the company's financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and compliance. This role ensures accurate financial records, timely reporting, and ensures smooth day-to-day operations and contributes to creating a productive and positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

FINANCE

Financial Operations & Accounting

  • Manage daily accounting activities including AR, AP, GL, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and month-end closing.
  • Prepare and submit periodic GST returns in accordance with local tax regulations.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist in management reporting and financial analysis.
  • Support audit activities and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and banks.

Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Support implementation and improvement of internal controls and SOPs.
  • Assist in statutory filings and regulatory reporting.

Business Support

  • Support cross-functional teams on finance-related matters.
  • Assist in system implementation or improvement (ERP / accounting systems).
  • Ad-hoc finance projects and management requests.


ADMINISTRATION

  • Oversee office management and general administrative tasks.
  • Manage office supplies, procurement, and vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate company events, meetings, and internal communications.
  • Support travel arrangements for staff.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient office environment.

Education / Experience / Languages:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5 - 10 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines
