Job Summary:
The Finance and Admin Specialist is responsible for supporting the company's financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and compliance. This role ensures accurate financial records, timely reporting, and ensures smooth day-to-day operations and contributes to creating a productive and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
FINANCE
Financial Operations & Accounting
- Manage daily accounting activities including AR, AP, GL, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and month-end closing.
- Prepare and submit periodic GST returns in accordance with local tax regulations.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in management reporting and financial analysis.
- Support audit activities and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and banks.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Support implementation and improvement of internal controls and SOPs.
- Assist in statutory filings and regulatory reporting.
Business Support
- Support cross-functional teams on finance-related matters.
- Assist in system implementation or improvement (ERP / accounting systems).
- Ad-hoc finance projects and management requests.
ADMINISTRATION
- Oversee office management and general administrative tasks.
- Manage office supplies, procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Coordinate company events, meetings, and internal communications.
- Support travel arrangements for staff.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient office environment.

Education / Experience / Languages:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5 - 10 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines
