Responsibilities:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accounts Payable & Compliance Specialist with strong expertise in financial operations, SOX compliance, ERP systems (preferably SAP), and global service delivery. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in managing end-to-end AP processes, intercompany reconciliations, and financial controls within multinational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee Accounts Payable operations across multiple global regions (APAC, Europe, Africa)
- Lead monthly and year-end closing activities, including financial reporting and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls, internal policies, and external regulatory standards
- Perform GL reconciliations using tools like AssureNET and ECON
- Handle intercompany transactions and resolve reconciliation issues within tight deadlines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Procurement, and Audit
- Drive process improvements in Procure-to-Pay workflows
- Act as a focal point during internal/external audits and ensure timely resolution of findings
- Support ERP implementations, migrations, and process transitions
- Lead and coach junior team members and provide backup support to delivery managers as required
Skills/Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Intercompany, and Compliance functions.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP and AssureNET
- In-depth understanding of global finance operations and audit requirements.
- Proven experience with SOX controls and internal audits
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with ERP migration or shared service center transitions.
- Exposure to international assignments or global service delivery roles.
