Nandina REM is creating new sources of advanced materials for manufacturing supply chains. We are an early stage company specialising in the use of deep tech and material science to recover and remanufacture critical resources, creating a rapidly developing market for low-emission circular materials such as carbon fibre composites and metals.
We are seeking a Finance Administrative Assistant to support our finance department. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining financial records, performing reconciliations, and assisting with general office administration. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with numbers, proficient in accounting software, and capable of maintaining strict confidentiality.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process incoming invoices, verify receipts, and prepare payments. Assist in issuing invoices to clients and following up on overdue payments.
Data Entry & Record Keeping: Accurately enter financial transactions into accounting software and maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
Expense Management: Review employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policy before processing reimbursements.
Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling monthly bank statements and flagging any discrepancies for the Finance Manager.
Administrative Support: Assist with procurement, coordinate schedules for audits or financial reviews, and other administrative duties as required.
Reporting: Help prepare basic financial reports, such as profit and loss statements or balance sheets, for departmental meetings.
Education: High school diploma required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in an administrative or junior accounting role.
Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables) and experience with accounting software.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and a sharp eye for spotting financial errors.
Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
Success Profile: A methodical mindset with a sharp eye for spotting financial errors and a high degree of integrity regarding sensitive data.
