Field Service Technician to join our regional team based in
Singapore. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional who enjoys working on-site, solving problems, and supporting customers to achieve safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
About The Role
As a
Field Service Technician at Solenis, you will play a critical role in supporting customer operations through effective
water treatment programs. You will be responsible for testing, monitoring, and maintaining chemical treatment systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance across customer sites. This position offers strong exposure to industrial water treatment applications and close collaboration with customers and internal teams.
What The Role Involves
- Provide field service support for industrial water treatment programs (cooling and boiler systems).
- Perform on-site water testing, monitoring, and water management services at customer plants.
- Inspect chemical dosing and monitoring equipment; conduct troubleshooting and repairs as required
- Carry out disinfection and cleaning of cooling towers in accordance with safety and technical standards.
- Conduct site surveys and collect samples for laboratory analysis.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and compliance with safety requirements at assigned customer premises.
- Support account managers and engineers during program start-ups and ongoing technical troubleshooting.
What You'll Bring To Us
- Higher NITEC qualification or equivalent technical certification.
- 23 years of hands-on experience in cooling and boiler water treatment field service.
- Experience with plant equipment, water treatment systems, and chemical treatment programs.
- Experience in laboratory testing with knowledge of key water quality parameters.
- Strong customer-service mindset with the ability to work closely with internal sales and engineering teams.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
