Field Service Engineer/Senior Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Equipment Installation, Calibration, and Acceptance

- Perform installation and functional verification of back-end semiconductor equipment (such as Die Attach, Thermal Compression, AOI, TC Bonder, etc.) at customer sites.

- Carry out machine calibration, production line integration, and SAT/FAT acceptance testing in accordance with SOPs and customer requirements.

2. Technical Support and Troubleshooting

- Handle equipment signal abnormalities, software/hardware failures, and fixture-related issues in real time.

- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), propose corrective actions, and report findings to the engineering team at headquarters.

- Provide on-site and remote technical support to ensure equipment uptime meets customer expectations.

3. Equipment Maintenance and Servicing

- Perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) and equipment performance calibration.

- Maintain and update maintenance logs, service reports, and parts replacement records.

- Evaluate equipment health conditions and recommend optimization or improvement actions.

4. Customer Training and Technical Documentation

- Train customer engineers and operators on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.

- Prepare service reports, technical documentation, and troubleshooting guides.

- Support the development and update of internal knowledge base materials.

5. Internal Collaboration and Cross-Country Technical Communication

- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and R&D teams at the Korea headquarters.

- Provide feedback on equipment functions, software performance, and design improvement needs.

- Support new product testing, demos, and customer pilot-run activities.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Optics, or other relevant engineering disciplines.

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on working experience in machine setup, installation, maintenance, and packaging equipment.

• Strong communication skills with a careful, detail-oriented, and methodical working attitude.

• Patient, responsible, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
